At our first State Executive Meeting for 2010, held on February 2^nd the details for this year’s A.G..M were finalised. If you have administrative skills, can pledge loyalty to the Party and to work with the elected Executive, please give some thought to nominating.

The date of the A.G.M. is set for May 1^st 2010. The venue details are listed on the nomination form. Meeting will start at 11.00 a.m.

An excellent lunch is available at a very reasonable cost.

The elected positions are:- State President, Vice President, State Secretary and State Treasurer.

Appointed position are:- State Director and Membership Officer—both positions along with the position of Party Agent and Committe Members are by appointment of the Elected Executive.

At the A.G.M. all positions will be called vacant.

2010 is a Federal Election year, so we will be fielding Candidates at least for the Senate. It is never too early for you to ask for nomination forms to represent One Nation.

We do expect our Candidates to promote the One Nation policies thereby promoting the Party.

The Qld. Division underwent a review for their State Registration in 2009. This review was unsuccessful and they were de-registered November 2009. In January 2010 the Qld Division took their case to the Magistrates Court to have the decision reviewed. However the case was dismissed as the Magistrate said it was outside his Jurisdiction.

They are now intending to proceed to the Supreme Court.

All States are still waiting on the decision of the A.E.C. on our Federal Registration.

It was a shock to get the news from Qld. that Anne Law, the former Qld. One Nation Secretary, had suffered a minor stroke over Xmas. Anne is one of the great stalwarts of the Qld. Division and we all wish her a speedy recovery.

As we do not have State Registration in Victoria we cannot put forward Candidates for the State Elections due in November this year. But if you are interested in standing as an Independent under the One Nation banner we will do all we can to assist you.

So often in the news we hear of Indians being bashed in this Country. The finger of blame has been pointed at Australians being to blame for these bashings which is causing conflict between

India and Australia. Last week another of these bashings occurred but this time the culprits were allegedly an Asian gang. How many other of these bashings have been by Ethnic groups? It is time that the Police and the Media released the identity of these thugs.

If they are Australian then it is to our shame.

On many occasions I have mentioned our very generous benefactor Chas Logan. On February 10^th

Chas will turn 97. So can I ask you all to raise your glass on that day and wish Chas ‘Good Health’.

Even at this great age Chas still has a sharp mind and corresponds regularly with interesting input.

An article in this months Nation Newspaper which related to Sir Edmund Barton’s ideas on Immigrants and being Australian read:-

;In the first place, we should insist that if the immigrant who comes here in good faith becomes an Australian and assimilates himself to us, he shall be treated on an exact equality with everyone else, for it is an outrage to discriminate against any such man because of creed, or birthright or origin.

If only we had politicians today who would stand by what Sir Edmund Barton’s views were.

Instead we have Governments so intent on selling us and our Country out.

Over the past week I have received by Email, videos concerning Islam in Europe. One such video began with the statement of "The enemies from within" This referred to the laws made by Government which resulted in Political Correctness and Multiculurism.

Reported on this video was that the top Judge in England along with the Head of the Church of England believe that the Nation should allow Sharia Law.

But, what of the Laws of that Country?

Another video was allegedly a speech by the British Justice Minister and Labour MP of Dewsbury.

In this speech he was actively promoting Islam and boasted that in 1997 there was 1 Muslim MP in British Parliament, 2001 there were 2, 2005 there were 4, and so it went on to this day where he says there are 16.

He then told his audience that within 30 years England should have a Muslim Prime Minister.

Will the people allow this to happen?

If this can happen in Britain it can happen here in Australia.

So often I hear people say " but what can I do" my reply is always that if we sit on our hands and do nothing we then lose everything.

A point in fact is the stand the Victorian Pensioners made to get an increase in the Age Pension.

This is ‘People Power’ Something that too few have the intestinal fortitude to stand up and be counted for.

One Nation and a few of the other minor Political Parties are working hard to keep Australia Australian.

If this makes us seen as racists then I for one make no apology!!
