ONE NATION ATTENDS PAKENHAM AGRICULTURAL SHOW (19th March 2011)
Once again our Interim President Dale Townsend and Vice President Mick Lenz had the Gazebo set up and looking very patriotic when Bill & I arrived at 9.00 a.m. Good team work guys.
Our
Benefactor Chas Logan had sent me photos of machinery on his farm at
Murrayville which I had laminated to keep in good condition.
These, along with a laminated original photo of Pauline helped create interest in our stand.
Brian McRae, from W.A. had put together a
questionnaire which we handed out with copies of our Aims & Objectives, Policies
& Membership Applications. There were more people showing interest than we have
seen before. To hear some of these people voicing their concerns makes us
realise how important One Nation can be.
The questionnaire is also on our web site and already I am getting these back. This after only a few days.
We had a good position at this Show with plenty of passing traffic. It was a great pity that we were under the loud speaker from the pavilion and 20 or so metres from where a band was playing. This did make it hard to hear and be heard.
We were pleased to see a couple of our long time loyal One Nation Members. They were full of praise for our effort.

Among other distinguished visitors to our site was a Liberal MP who told us he was pleased to see us there and said “Keep up the good work”

One
Nation Attends Korumburra Agricultural Show
Representatives from One Nation (Victorian Division) attending the show stand at Korumburra on the 12th February 2011 were Dale Townsend (Interim State President), Michael Lenz (State Vice President) and Rosalyn Townsend (Assistant State Secretary).
The organisers arrived at the show ground just after 8.00am, having been directed to the location by the Secretary of the show.
One Nation had an excellent
position, not far from the kiosk and between two stands that generated a lot of
passing 'foot traffic'.
The One Nation site was well displayed with a colourful banner, the One Nation 'A' Frame and a host of Australian flags - many commented that the stand had a 'very patriotic feel and look'. The response from the public was encouraging and we were approached by many on a host of issues.
A lot believed the party had gone out of existence and found it encouraging that it still was a 'political force'. Many took our application to join, and it is hoped that some new members will result from this.
The exposure One Nation
gained from this event was excellent and the public became aware that One Nation
is still in existence and that there is an
alternative
to the main parties.
Dale Townsend, Interim State President expressed his thanks and appreciation to Mick Lenz (pictured at right) in attending and taking photos of the stand. Rosalyn Townsend was thanked for the work she put into organising the display of the Australian flags. Pat Loy, State Secretary was thanked for the work and effort she has put into organising the shows.
One Nation (Victoria) will be attending future Agricultural Shows in Pakenham (19th March 2011) and Warragul (5th March 2011). All members are encouraged to assist on the stand and to 'spread the message' and bring your family and friends along.
